Like Yoga itself, the LUX villa is a union of the best of all possibilities. Perched above a protected forest, the Riviera and the Mediterranean Sea sparkle to South with views along the Côte d’Azur from Nice to St. Tropez. To the North, literally above us, lie the serene foothills of the Alps. To the East and West is the verdant nature of Provence and the smells of Thyme, Pine, and Lavender. The LUX Villa is a 3-level 10,000 square foot private luxury home outfitted to support the services of a boutique hotel. Like the land itself, the villa is a union of sorts; luxury, comfort, common space, and privacy integrate as seamlessly as the architecture opens to the stunning views. Each room has unique and memorable characteristics and thus rates vary. Dining on the terrace with a view into the open kitchen creates a sense of belonging that would not be possible at a mere resort, and the pool beckons just steps from the Yoga room. Our job is to cut through all the tourist pitfalls to offer you the real. Luxurious and newly renovated rooms a short 5-minute ride from the main villa. A very popular booking for guests who want a private room at a lower rate than at the LUX villa. Rides are provided before and after each class and meals. Cottage guests spend as much time at the main villa as they wish, just like the main villa bookings. Bleu Azur has beautiful riviera views, a lovely pool and charming on-site hosts.

Our stuff is legend. Ask our guests. LUX founder Benjamin Sears comes from a long line of foodies, and is notoriously passionate about food and obsessive about wellness. You will eat to his standards, and once you’re here, you’ll get why that matters. An example: our entire menu is gluten-free, but we also source local, yeast-free, naturally fermented breads made from heirloom grains – because if you’re going to have whatever it is, it should be the very best. Organic, seasonal, local - all that goes without saying. Eating is a sacred pleasure that represents love of life. Here, you will love life because of how you eat, and savor ingredient-driven cuisine fit for the great dining rooms of the world at a communal table overlooking the Mediterranean coast. You might wear heals or a hoodie to dinner but regardless of how you dress you will be nourished by farm-to-table meals that integrate creativity, deliciousness and wellbeing for a joyful lifestyle of balance that can’t be bought off a shelf. Unlike even the fanciest of restaurants, we cut no corners; no cheap oils, or anything Benjamin wouldn’t eat himself. It’s a running joke at the villa that whenever we work with a new chef, Benjamin inspects the provisions after each shopping trip for the entire season.

Breakfast and lunch at the villa are resplendent buffets that change daily to make each meal an experience while always maintaining our nutritional criteria. Dinner starts with hors d’ouevres and biodynamic wines at magic hour, followed by a three-course meal plated by our chef. All dietary requirements – vegan, paleo, etc. are well supported. Each week you get a cooking class, and every day ends with a little wonder at what’s cooking tomorrow.

On two to three afternoons during your retreat you will have the option to join an excursion to one of our favorite spots. Selections are based on the seasons, places we love, and what we’re into at the moment. Expect one culturally-themed afternoon with the option to shop and explore a local city, and another slightly more rugged hike or forest walk that gives you a peek into the natural beauty that surrounds us. A retreat at LUXYOGA is also an amazing jumping off point for those of you who wish to explore the region.
